🍑 Summer Pies, Homemade Jam & Easy Slow Cooker Dinners

Good morning and Happy Saturday!

Around here, the kitchen is still a construction zone, which means I'm doing a lot more dreaming than cooking this week. 😊 Between planning cabinet organization, counting down until I can actually use my new kitchen, and trying not to think about washing dishes in the bathroom sink... I've rounded up some of my favorite summer pies, homemade jams, and easy slow cooker dinners.

Whether you're planning your Fourth of July menu or just looking for something delicious to make this weekend, I gotcha!

Crockpot Carefree Cooking

Crockpot Chicken Spaghetti - Creamy, cheesy, and loaded with tender chicken, this cozy dinner practically cooks itself while you tackle everything else on your to-do list.

Crockpot Salisbury Steak Meatballs - Juicy meatballs simmer in a rich mushroom gravy that's begging to be spooned over a pile of mashed potatoes.

Slow Cooker Chicken Gnocchi Soup - Rich, creamy, and packed with pillowy gnocchi, this comforting soup tastes like it came from your favorite restaurant.

Crockpot Steak and Potatoes - Tender steak, hearty potatoes, and savory seasonings come together for a stick-to-your-ribs dinner with hardly any effort.

Crockpot Honey Garlic Chicken - Sweet, savory, and loaded with garlicky goodness, this easy chicken recipe is one the whole family will happily request again.

Toast Is About to Get an Upgrade

Apricot Jam - Sweet, sunny, and bursting with fresh apricot flavor, this homemade jam is delicious on toast, biscuits, or straight from the spoon. (I won't judge!)

Apricot Pineapple Jam - Fresh apricots and juicy pineapple team up for a bright, tropical twist that's guaranteed to make breakfast a whole lot happier.

Apricot Jalapenos Jam - Sweet apricots meet just the right kick of jalapeño for a jam that's equally at home on a cracker with cream cheese as it is slathered on grilled chicken.

A Slice of Summer Is Waiting 🍓

Every Fourth of July celebration deserves a pie, and this sweet-tart beauty never disappoints. Just add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and watch it disappear faster than the fireworks!

Old Fashioned Rhubarb Pie - Tangy rhubarb, a flaky golden crust, and just the right touch of sweetness make this timeless pie one you'll want to bring to every summer gathering.

Fresh Apricot Pie - Loaded with juicy fresh apricots and tucked into a flaky, buttery crust, this is one of those summertime pies that disappears one happy slice at a time.

Easy Cherry Pie using Canned and Frozen Cherries - No need to wait for cherry season—this easy pie delivers a sweet, bubbly filling and homemade flavor any time of year with pantry-friendly ingredients.

Kitchen Finds I'm Eyeing

While the crew is busy building my dream kitchen, I've been busy planning how to keep it organized! This expandable bamboo pots and pans organizer caught my eye because it keeps lids and cookware standing neatly instead of stacked in one giant game of kitchen Jenga. If you're organizing your cabinets too, this one looks like a winner!

Thanks so much for spending a little time with me today! Every click, comment, and recipe you make means more than you know, and I'm so grateful you're here.

Have a safe, joy-filled weekend, make something delicious, and if you bake one of those pies, save yourself the biggest slice—you've earned it!

Talk soon! 🧡

Hey friends! I got a great email from a reader after I shared my Orange Chicken recipe yesterday, and I thought this idea was too good not to pass along! She had a few bags of frozen Perdue chicken nuggets hanging out in the freezer and decided to try them with the orange sauce. While the nuggets baked in the oven, she mixed up the sauce using Smucker's Orange Marmalade, low-sodium soy sauce, and Ray's Original BBQ Sauce. As soon as the nuggets came out hot and crispy, she tossed them in the...
