Good morning and Happy Saturday! Before we get to this week's recipes, I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for reading, clicking over to the blog, sharing recipes with friends, and taking the time to leave comments. Running Bowl Me Over is truly a team effort, and your support helps make initiatives like #FeedTheNeedFriday possible. This week, together, we'll be donating $357.44 to help feed families in need. Woohoo!!! That's because of you. Every click, every comment, and every visit helps make a difference. We're in this for the long haul, and I'm incredibly grateful to have such a caring community gathered around the table. What's cooking this weekend?Yesterday we celebrated my dad's birthday with family at our favorite local pizza place, and it turned into one of those days that reminds you what really matters. We snuck in with cake and balloons while blasting the Beatles' Happy Birthday song, and Dad even got up and danced a little jig. There was lots of laughter, plenty of pizza, and enough cake to share with neighboring tables and the restaurant staff! It got me thinking about how often food becomes the backdrop for our favorite memories. So... whether you're firing up the grill, gathering around the kitchen table, or simply enjoying a quiet meal at home, I hope your weekend includes good food and good company! So tell me... what's cooking at your house this weekend? 🥘 Stuffed Bell Pepper Casserole - The recipe that continues to top the charts month after month. All the flavors you love without the extra prep work. 🍝 Chicken Spaghetti with Rotel - Creamy, cheesy, and easy enough for a busy weekend when you'd rather be enjoying family than standing in the kitchen. 🔥 Ribs on the Grill - Tender, smoky, and loaded with flavor. If you're firing up the grill this weekend, this one deserves a spot on the menu. 🍔 Cook Frozen Burgers - Forgot to thaw the burgers? No problem. This simple method gets dinner on the table fast and delivers juicy results every time. 🍰 Cool Whip Ice Cream Cake - A cool, creamy dessert that's made for warm summer days. No oven required. Thank you again for helping make this week's $350 Feed the Need donation possible. I hope you have a wonderful weekend filled with good food, family, friends, and maybe a little cake too. 😋 I'd love to hear from you—what's cooking at your house this weekend? Talk soon! 🧡

Good morning and Happy Saturday! Around here, the kitchen is still a construction zone, which means I'm doing a lot more dreaming than cooking this week. 😊 Between planning cabinet organization, counting down until I can actually use my new kitchen, and trying not to think about washing dishes in the bathroom sink... I've rounded up some of my favorite summer pies, homemade jams, and easy slow cooker dinners. Whether you're planning your Fourth of July menu or just looking for something...
Hello and Happy Sunday! One of my favorite parts of sharing recipes isn't the food—it's the people. Over the years, so many of you have become friends, and I love getting the chance to share a little more of the stories behind Bowl Me Over. This week, I had the chance to put together something especially close to my heart—a Community Spotlight featuring my mom, who will soon be celebrating her 85th birthday! Looking through family photos and sharing a few stories brought back so many...
Hey friends! I got a great email from a reader after I shared my Orange Chicken recipe yesterday, and I thought this idea was too good not to pass along! She had a few bags of frozen Perdue chicken nuggets hanging out in the freezer and decided to try them with the orange sauce. While the nuggets baked in the oven, she mixed up the sauce using Smucker's Orange Marmalade, low-sodium soy sauce, and Ray's Original BBQ Sauce. As soon as the nuggets came out hot and crispy, she tossed them in the...
